For practices already running iPads

You already bought the iPads. Nothing keeps them running.

Cases that survive a working day. Charging that happens without anyone remembering to plug anything in. A fixed home for every device, so nobody spends the morning hunting for it. Whatever software you run, it keeps running — IPORT makes the hardware, not the app.

The everyday reality

Four ways an iPad fails in a busy practice.

None of these are software problems, which is why software never fixes them. They are all problems of power, protection and place.

It's dead by two o'clock.

Nobody owns plugging it in. The charger walks off, or it's plugged into a socket behind a cabinet, or someone unplugged it to charge a phone. By the afternoon the device your team depends on is a paperweight.

Fixed by magnetic charging — set it down and it charges. No cable to remember.

It gets dropped.

A bare iPad on a hard floor is an expensive morning. In a practice it is also handled by a dozen different people a day, most of them moving quickly and carrying something else.

Fixed by a case built for daily handling — withstands drops up to 2 meters and hospital-grade cleaners.

Nobody knows where it is.

With no fixed home, the iPad ends up wherever the day ended — an exam room, the sterilization area, the break room. Then it's hunting for it, usually at the worst moment.

Fixed by a dock, stand or wall mount — one place it lives, and everyone knows where.

The cables look bad.

Chargers snaking across a counter is the first thing a patient sees at check-in. It is a small thing that quietly undoes an otherwise well-run front desk.

Fixed by cable-free charging — one power lead to the dock, nothing across the counter.

What changes

The same iPad. It just stops being fragile.

The case adds the protection and the charging contact. Nothing about how your team uses the device changes — they pick it up, they use your app, they set it down. The difference is that setting it down is what charges it, and dropping it is no longer an incident.

We make the hardware. You keep your software.

IPORT does not sell practice-management software, patient intake, or a scheduling app — and we are not asking you to switch anything. You already chose your software. Whatever is on those iPads today keeps running exactly as it does now.

What we make is the part nobody budgets for until it fails: the case, the charging and the mount. You buy it once. No subscription, no account to set up, and nothing that stops working because you didn't renew it.

Questions, answered.

Do I have to change the software we use?
No. IPORT makes cases, docks and mounts. Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, your intake app, your scheduling app — all of it keeps running exactly as it does now. We don't integrate with it, because there's nothing to integrate.
Will it fit the iPads we already own?
Cases are made per iPad model, so tell us which ones you have and we'll confirm the match before you order. A mix of models is normal and we'll spec it. One thing worth knowing up front: the case covers the iPad's power button, so Touch ID is unavailable while the iPad is in it — staff sign in with a passcode or Face ID.
Do we need an IT person to install this?
No. There's no software to install and nothing to configure. A dock needs a power outlet. A wall mount needs a few screws. If something breaks, you call us and we replace the part — there's nothing configured inside a case, so a replacement is a swap, not a re-install.
How does the charging work without a cable?
The case carries charging contacts on the back. Set the cased iPad onto the dock and it charges through those contacts — nobody has to line up a connector or remember a cable.
Can the iPad be cleaned between patients?
Yes. IPORT cases are built to withstand hospital-grade cleaners and disinfectants, so they wipe down as part of a normal room-turnover routine. Select models also use an antimicrobial material — we'll tell you which when we confirm your models.
What if we want it fixed to a wall or a counter?
That's supported — wall, counter and VESA mounting. There's also a version that carries power and network over one cable, though that needs a network point at the spot; a plain dock only needs a socket. Tell us where it needs to live and we'll spec whichever is simpler for your building.

Tell us what you're running. We'll send pricing.
